"My wife and I were due to travel to Spain for an extended break at the end of April. To my horror, it transpired that we were set to travel through Heathrow’s doomed T5 - a daunting prospect given that our lengthy sojourn meant that we would be travelling with a great deal of luggage, which, if it went missing, would cause no end of chaos at the other end. Thankfully my wife remembered reading about First Luggage in the paper and we thought we’d give them a try and send our luggage ahead. And, I have to say, it was a marvellous experience: not only did our luggage arrive ahead at our destination (a distinctly unlikely prospect had we sent it via T5) but all items were tracked en route with regular updates sent through to us, which gave us great peace of mind. I’d never fully appreciated just how convenient it would be to send luggage ahead: everything was collected from our house prior to our departure which meant that we not only avoided traipsing to the airport with suitcases in tow, but could also breeze out hands-free at the other end with our cases ready and waiting for us at our beachfront apartment! Lost luggage has been a problem for years - it was merely magnified at T5, with particular media focus as a result of its unveiling - we certainly won’t risk travelling with luggage again and will always use First Luggage in the future. I only wish I’d found out about it sooner!"

"Having difficulties in taking holidays over recent years because of the handicap of managing luggage, I, by providence, discovered the excellent services provided by First Luggage. Going on a cruise last month, they collected my luggage from my home and it was in the over night stay hotel the next day and the return was as efficient. The same impeccable service was given on an earlier trip to Madeira where I did not see our luggage out of our home or hotel room.
